60-year-old Mysuru woman gulps down 6 idlis in a minute in viral video

 Do you think you can eat six idlis in sixty seconds? In case you are of the opinion that it is a Herculean task, we'll break the bubble. A 60-year-old woman gulped down six idlis in a minute during an idli-eating competition in Mysuru on October 1, news agency ANI reports.

Sarojamma, a resident of Hullahalli, secured the first position in the competition that was held on the occasion of Mysuru Dasara on Tuesday. ANI also reports that the idli-eating competition was held especially for women during Mysuru Dasara.

Those who could eat the maximum number of idlis in a minute would be declared the winner. For Sarojamma, it appears that it was no big deal at all. In a video that has been made available by ANI, Sarojamma gulped down the idlis with effortless ease.

Mysuru Dasara, a 10-day festival, is the official state festival of Karnataka. It begins with Navratri and concludes with Vijayadashami. Mysuru is lit up during the festival while the Mysore Palace is a sight to behold. The palace is illuminated daily with around 100,000 light bulbs in the evening during Mysuru Dasara.

Cultural programs are held in front of the palace as well.
